The Conservation Foundation has been doing webinars on a variety of topics this past year due to the pandemic. The annual Conservation @ Home program will not happen in person this year, instead you can watch one of their previously taped webinars. You can watch this at your leisure or any of their other taped webinars on the Conservation Foundation's YouTube channel. Please learn more with the about rain barrels and what makes a rain garden as well as how to certify your home with Conservation @ Home videos.
About Rain Barrels
Rain barrels are simply large containers that capture rainwater at the end of your downspout, which you can then use to water plants, wash your car and further reduce your water bill while also reducing polluted runoff from getting to our rivers and streams. Rain Barrel Sales
Ordering your rain barrel is simple, you can order right now by following this link. At this time the City is not hosting an in person pick up event and delivery is the only option. If conditions improve the City will look into possibly hosting a local pick up day later this summer. In the meantime the online sale is ongoing. The Conservation Foundation sells 4 different colors of plastic rain barrels.
The Rain Barrels start at $55-$60. Learn more about the rain barrels online.
