East Side Vehicles - Station 1
Battalion 1 Command Vehicle
Battalion 1
The Battalion Chief's car is the command vehicle that responds to most incidents. The Battalion Chief takes command and coordinates the various crews that arrive. Organization is the key to any successful operation.
Engine 1
Engine 1 is the first line company at Station 1. They respond to most of the calls on the East side of Batavia and assist at calls on the West side. Engine 1 is an Advanced Life Support vehicle, which means it carries extensive EMS equipment and is staffed with at least 1 paramedic at all times. It carries 750 gallons of water and can pump at 1500 gpm.

Truck 1
Truck 1 carries a 100-foot aerial tower ladder as well as many of our specialized tools.  The Truck company has critical duties at a fire, and also lends support at technical rescue emergencies.  Truck 1 has aerial master stream nozzles on the ladder which can be used to pump up to 2000 gallons per minute down onto large fires.
Squad 1
Squad 1 is our special rescue unit, carrying heavy equipment we use at serious car crashes. It also assists the ambulance at many EMS calls.

Medic 51
Medic 51 is the ambulance on the East side of town. Staffed with 2 paramedics, this Advanced Life Support vehicle responds not only to EMS calls, but to any call where evaluation or treatment of a patient could be needed. Medic 51 is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment and its paramedics engage in ongoing training multiple times per month.
Engine 3
Engine 3 is the backup engine at Station 1. If duty crews are already on a call, Engine 3 responds to any further emergencies. It carries 500 gallons of water and can pump at 1500 gpm.
West Side Vehicles - Station 2

Engine 2
Engine 2 is the first line company at Station 2. They respond to calls on the West side of Batavia, and lend assistance on the East side as well. Like Engine 1, Engine 2 is an Advanced Life Support vehicle. It carries 750 gallons of water and can pump 1500 gpm.

Medic 52
Medic 52 is the ambulance on the West side of town. Staffed with 2 paramedics, this Advanced Life Support vehicle responds not only to EMS calls, but to any call where evaluation or treatment of a patient could be needed. Medic 52 is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment and its paramedics engage in ongoing training multiple times per month.

Engine 4
Engine 4 is the backup engine at Station 2. If duty crews are on a call, Engine 4 responds to any further emergencies. It carries 1250 gallons of water and can pump 1250 gpm.
Fire Department Emergency Truck
Brush 1
Brush 1 is used for grass fires and off-road situations. It carries 200 gallons of water and can pump 250 gpm.
Polaris Ranger Emergency Vehicle
Boat
BFD's boat is a necessary part of the fleet due to the Fox River. The boat has been used for many emergencies both in swift water situations and freezing conditions.
Rescue 2
Rescue 2 is a Polaris Ranger that can be used off-road for special rescue situations. It is also used as an EMS First Responder at various public events such as football games and triathlons
