Welcome to the City of Batavia. We're so glad you have decided to become a part of the community. Batavia operates its own electricity, water and wastewater (sewer) services. Batavia uses Waste Management for garbage, recycling and yard waste collection.
For those who are relocating, or need to update billing information, or start services, both residential and commercial customers can stop or start utility services by contacting the following:
Electric, water and wastewater services: Please call the Utility Billing Department, 630-454-2020 or visit the office, 100 N. Island Ave. Once your services have been established, please take advantage of our online billing and payment services.
Garbage and recycling services: The City of Batavia's garbage and recycling collection is contracted through Waste Management. To establish or cancel service, please call Waste Management at 800-964-8988. If you have issues contacting Waste Management, please call Batavia’s Public Properties & Services Division at 630-454-2400.
