NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 15th day of August, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, at 100 North Island Avenue, Batavia, Illinois, the Plan Commission of the City of Batavia will meet and a Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Chapters 5.2 and 5.7 of the Batavia Zoning Code (City Code Title 10) to consider amendments to the Official Zoning Map for property located at 1900 Hubbard Avenue.

One amendment to the Official Zoning Map proposes changing the zoning district classification from LI Light Industrial to PFI Public Facilities and Institutional on a portion of property owned by the City of Batavia located at 1900 Hubbard Avenue, PIN 12-13-451-002.

A second amendment to the Official Zoning Map proposes changing the zoning district classification from R0 Single Family to PFI Public Facilities and Institutional on a portion of property leased in part by the City of Batavia and owned by the United States of America, and operated as part of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory located at 1900 Hubbard Avenue, PINs 12-13-405-003 (Kane County) and 04-18-301-001 (DuPage County).

Information for the proposed amendments to the Zoning Code is available for review at the Community Development Department in the City of Batavia Municipal Building, 100 N. Island Avenue, Batavia, IL during normal business hours.  The proposed amendment may be changed, altered, modified, amended or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing, for consideration at subsequent open meetings.  All interested persons are requested to attend said Hearing.  For more information call 630-454-2700.
