Recycling & Donating

There are 2 community groups in the Batavia area, Freecycle and Facebook Buy Nothing Batavia Group, that give and receive good condition used items for free. Members get to save some money by getting free stuff and they also keep used items out of the landfills.

Freecycle is open to all who want to give away that special something locally rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Everything posted must be free, legal and appropriate for all ages.
