NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 6th day of October, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., the Plan Commission of the City of Batavia will meet and a Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Chapter 5.7 and 5.8 of the Batavia Zoning Code (City Code Title 10) to consider Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map and Official Zoning Map.
The property that is subject of the hearing is located at 111 and 115 South River Street. The applicant and property owner is the Batavia Park District, 327 W Wilson St, Batavia, IL 60510, PINs 12-22-259-002 and 12-22-259-003.
The applicant proposes to amend the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designation from Residential >2-3.5 Dwelling Units per Acre to Parks and Open Space and the Official Zoning Map from R1-M Single Family Residential Medium Density District to POS Parks and Open Space District for both properties.
Pursuant to Governor Pritzker’s Executive Orders in effect when publication of this legal notice was requested, the Plan Commission meeting at which this advertised Public Hearing is to occur may be conducted solely virtually via electronic means. The meeting’s agenda will be posted a minimum of 72 hours before the meeting at: www.cityofbatavia.net/agendacenter and the posted agenda will provide instruction on how one may attend and participate in the virtual meeting and public hearing.
